Compétences & Développement brings together 14 higher education school brands and training centres spread across around thirty campuses. Within Edusign, this structure translates into more than 100 distinct environments to administer.
The team in charge of the rollout manages access rights, the full set of administrator configurations, and supports administrative staff, teaching teams and instructors in using the platform. This dual role, both operational and support-based, requires a tool capable of adapting to a complex multi-entity organisation.
Before 2021, attendance sheets were managed on paper. They had to be signed, then scanned, resulting in a one-week processing delay. For a network of this size, with a majority of instructors working in industry, this latency created real tracking and compliance issues.

Compétences & Développement
Since 2021, Compétences & Développement has progressively rolled out the full range of Edusign features, integrating them into its internal processes and other software.
Surveys are now fully embedded in the practices of teaching teams.
Alerts are configured directly by each school according to the network's quality process requirements. Each institution defines its own notification recipients, enabling decentralised management while maintaining a common framework.
Attendance records have undergone a major evolution: previously generated manually from an internal tool, they can now be sent automatically or manually depending on each school's choice, via the tracking statistics. A concrete time saving for administrative teams.
JustifAI, deployed very recently, is already generating strong internal interest. Early feedback is encouraging, even though it's still too soon for a full assessment.
Since the start of 2025, the network has also implemented the Hyperplanning connector, a tool the teams had already been working with for several years. The transition required some adjustments, notably due to the high number of environments to configure.
Within Compétences & Développement's organisation, instructor pay is based directly on data from the sessions run through Edusign. The Hyperplanning connector now makes it easier to access and centralise this data, including for multi-campus programmes involving several environments.
